Beast and myself doing a press conference at the Sharks. Tendai was one of the players who I saw grow in leaps and bounds as an International player. First capped in 2009 against the British and Irish Lions he started with bang by destroying the Lions front from in the first test, over 100 tests later, he ended his career with a RWC medal, and again, a game where he personally dominated the scrum v England. Quiet humble and kind man, who was a brilliant bloke to work with.
